Love having the opportunity to photograph a family multiple times!! There is something almost magical about watching a child grow up through photographs. Seeing not only their appearance change, but their character and confidence grow.
Mallory (pictured in pink) is one that I started photographing when she was just a few weeks old and I’ve had the opportunity to photograph her every 6 months since then. Every time I come back she is a little more outgoing- and this time in particular she was playful, carefree and full of energy!
Another wonderful part of shooting a family multiple times is seeing their family grow. Stacey and Kyle recently welcomed another beautiful baby girl, Claire (pictured in purple), into their family. I am already looking forward to photographing Claire again and seeing how much she has changed.
Congratulations to the Lowe family!
It’s the perfect nick-name.
She’s got spunk, she’s adorable, and she’s got one of the best wardrobe’s of any baby girl I’ve seen! The Zanjani’s were wonderful…Eva is their first child and they just sold their condo (where we did the session) and bought a house. I wanted to capture their beautiful family and the place where it all began for them.

Believe it or not, we took these photos on the coldest day of the year! They were great sports…bundling up as we walked from location to location, then pretending to be warm while I snapped a few pictures. I couldn’t feel my fingers, so working my camera proved to be a bit tricky. And after a while I’m pretty sure the smiles were just frozen on their faces. But all in all we had fun…and at the end of the day we all got the feeling back in our fingers!
I’m so excited for these two…and am looking forward to July 10, 2010!

When I heard that Tyler’s father said that, I debated using it as some sort of tag line for my business! (The best part was that he didn’t even know that was my last name.)
This was my first senior session and I was thrilled with the shots I ended up with. We packed into a pickup truck and just drove around until we saw places that caught our eye. There were some great wooded areas and ponds, but my favorite was an old abandoned barn we found in someone’s back yard. Not only did I love the character, texture and look of the barn, but who could resist photos against an old barn in a plaid flannel shirt and worker boots?

This was my second time photographing the Thompson family and I must say- I find their little ones so refreshing! Jack is always full of energy and couldn’t be more comfortable in front of the camera. And Lauren, well…who could resist those big blue eyes?

It took many creative minds and lots of time and effort…but I’m excited to share this new blog with you!
Please be sure to check back often…I’ll be posting lots and lots of pictures from sessions here. My hope is that this blog will show you little more about who I am and the style of photography I am so passionate about. It will act as a living gallery of my work…but be sure to also check out the new website (currently being built by a very talented designer) for more pictures and details about booking a photo session.
Thanks for stopping by!
